This new ornithological website has two main purposes: to put my photographs in the public domain for others to use free of charge (acknowledgement avianalgarve) and to provide a vehicle for the regular update of my Algarve sightings at this time of unprecedented change in bird movements and distribution. I am the only person birdwatching full-time, year-round in this strategic location near the south-west tip of Europe.
